Our Team

Zeke Lam grew up in a small town in Central Virginia where he began to earnestly follow Jesus Christ at the age of 16. He was mentored under the leadership of James E. Woods at First Bible Baptist Church where his heart began to yearn for the lost. He spent 10 years serving the Lord in youth ministry, evangelism, and served with the family furniture business (Lam Brothers Unfinished Furniture) before answering a call in 2011 for Houston Texas. Submission Ministries was born at the release of Zeke’s first book, subMISSION, heeding only His voice.  He spent over two years in Houston discipled by Eric Stephens of Life Changing Ministries and Fellowship as well as serving in Houston’s notorious Third Ward. The vision of this church is to reach the nations of this world through Biblical pastoring, evangelism, and discipleship. Today Zeke and his family live near Washington D.C. where he and several families are working to plant a church and evangelize the Nation’s capital. Zeke is the loving husband to Kathleen, and father to Ezekiel, Malachi, and Isabella, all of whom play a role in seeing God’s Kingdom advance through this ministry.

Zack Lam grew up in Madison Virginia and attended United Christian Academy which is located in the neighboring county of Greene. It was during this season of life that two major life altering events occurred: he met his wife and he met his Savior Jesus!!

Following high school, Zack joined the family business and soon after married his high school sweetheart. They have a son named Caden and a brand new baby girl named Addison.

His heart to honor and glorify the Savior is evident in everything he does. He serves as Worship Pastor of Submission Ministries and Fellowship while operating a furniture store in Gainesville Virginia.
